Sitting in the beautiful grounds of Grimsthorpe Castle discussing plans for a prestigious event, I smiled to myself at how much I love my job! We were asked by one of our clients to assist with the organisation of a reception at the castle so of course we jumped at the chance.
The hard work began with everything from compiling the guest list and designing the invitations to co-ordinating the replies. It was great for us to be able to oversee the whole process from the early planning to actually being there on the evening to ensure everything ran smoothly.
The event was to celebrate rural life in Lincolnshire as well as present the awards for the 'Best Kept Village & Small Towns' competition in which we also administer.
