No two days are ever the same in my role. As a Virtual Assistant and Executive Support Professional, I work across a variety of industries, from fleet management and heat pumps to property management and luxury travel (I even arranged a trip to the World Cup!)
My day usually begins by checking the inboxes I manage for my clients. This helps me create a clear action plan for the day ahead.
I always tackle the most time-sensitive tasks first. A large part of my day involves liaising with garages on behalf of a fleet management company, ensuring vehicles scheduled for maintenance or repairs have arrived as planned and keeping all parties updated throughout the process.

I then tend to move on to the consultancy, coaching, and professional development business I am an Executive Assistant for. This includes managing diaries, scheduling coaching appointments, and ensuring clients have everything they need for successful sessions. At certain times of the year, I throw myself into accountancy and help with VAT returns and financial administration!
Next, I swap hats again and become a heat pump engineer... well, kind of! I create invoices, book in services and breakdowns, and occasionally I even help customers get their heating and hot water back up and running over the phone. For someone who doesn't like getting her hands dirty, I think that's pretty impressive!
More recently, I have started to support an estate agents, where I book property viewings, manage administrative tasks, and carry out a compliance audit to ensure properties meet the required standards. This is quickly becoming a regular daily part of my routine.
The best part of my role is the variety. One minute I'm coordinating vehicle repairs, the next I'm scheduling executive coaching sessions, troubleshooting heating systems, or supporting property compliance. Every day is different, and that's exactly why I love what I do.
