A Day in the Life of Rachael Fitz-Gibbon – Team Leader

Most of my day is taken up working as a dedicated Executive Assistant to one client, I love the work and there is always something new to learn. Due to her remarkably successful career, she is time poor and that is where I come in. I book flights, hotels and taxis all over the world for her, I research and book event spaces, caterers, podcast studios, podcast guests, and I even created a YouTube channel for her. So, to say my working day is varied would be an understatement.  Last year, I spent two days working in a field at a festival for entrepreneurs with her (words I never thought I would type!), but it was so much fun. Obviously, I also do the more ‘ordinary’ EA tasks, things like diary and inbox management, PowerPoint, Excel and Word documents, booking water taxis in Venice…that kind of thing.

I am also the Team Leader here at MMP, which I really enjoy, as the team are lovely. We work hard and we make each other laugh. Making the team laugh, and being laughed at, is a role I take very seriously as Team Leader, I strive hard to be the funniest in the office at all times, it isn’t always possible, but it is good to have goals.

I have so much more to write about my day, but unfortunately time is short and that water taxi won’t book itself!
