A typical day in my role as a Personal Assistant at MMP is busy, varied, and rarely looks the same twice, which is exactly why I love it. One minute I'm coordinating event logistics, the next I'm balancing the books, and somewhere in between there's usually a coffee (or two!) and a few unexpected challenges to keep things interesting!
Two of my clients work in the events industry, although in completely different sectors. For one, I act as the business' Event Supporter, staying in constant communication with attendees, organisations, and venues across the globe. As the event takes place overseas, I help attending companies prepare for their trip, assisting with visas, accommodation, and general support. A big part of this role is building strong relationships and communicating with hundreds of people every day. I regularly meet with this client face-to-face over a coffee to discuss weekly developments, exchange ideas, and plan exciting upcoming projects.

For another client, I manage all things finance. This includes bookkeeping and quarterly VAT returns. This side of my role requires a sharp eye for detail and plenty of concentration, I tend to stick to after lunch for this one! Recently, I've also been working on new ways to improve efficiency and enhance customer communications, something I really look forward to launching.
What I enjoy most is being someone my clients can rely on and knowing that my support helps their businesses run smoothly and grow successfully. The variety keeps every day interesting, and I genuinely enjoy the balance of using my original skillset, whilst constantly learning something new.
