My role at MMP is so varied and rewarding. Every day brings new challenges, different clients, and opportunities to help businesses run smoothly behind the scenes.
Â
My day begins by checking emails for an international client, based in Dubai. Due to the three-hour time difference, it is important to prioritise this and enables us to collaborate during the afternoon. At 9.30am, it’s huddle-time, whereby we all discuss what our tasks are for the day and which clients we are working for. If one of the team is exceptionally busy, another team member will always offer to help. That is one of the many things I love about working for MMP – we all help out and support our colleagues wherever and whenever we can. It really is teamwork!
Â

One of my clients runs events for businesses, helping individuals understand personality preferences and behaviours. For these she requires their profiles to be printed and bound with a professional finish. Whilst this is not a daily occurrence, it can be time consuming when the events do take place and close tracking of these is essential.
Â
A daily responsibility of mine is bookkeeping. This can include uploading invoices, preparing them for payment, reconciling PayPal accounts, and credit card statements, along with other tasks. Keeping these up to date helps towards smooth completion of the quarterly VAT returns.
Â
Part of my day is spent coordinating and booking meetings. Once meetings are arranged, invitations and TEAMS links are sent; agendas and supporting documents are prepared and distributed in advance. During the meetings, detailed notes are taken to capture key discussions, decisions and actions. Afterwards, these are transcribed into professional meeting minutes that provide an accurate record for the business.Â
Â
As part of a strong team, part of my role is to provide cover when my colleagues are absent. Whether due to annual leave, illness, or unexpected circumstances, businesses still need us to operate efficiently and we do, seamlessly!
Â
While much of the work happens behind the scenes, effective PA/Business Support is often the foundation that keeps everything running smoothly. It's a role that requires adaptability, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills. Behind every task at MMP is the same goal - helping businesses stay organised, efficient, and focused on what they do best.
